trying to build a material bill of materials. Column A is part number.
Column C is a Quantity. D is a designator whether it is an Assembly or a piece.
F is a drop down that you put in what asswmbly number it is associated with.
Column M is the weight of the piece. Now if it is an assembly I want it to first
locate on column F all pieces that our associted with it's part number, multiply
the quantity by the weight, total all pieces weights together, and return that
total back to it's weight field. Can anyone help me get this going. I'm not
having any luck.

Look at the 'Subtotal' function; that may get you what you need.
