Telnet

I am trying to setup telnet using this command: sudo apt-get install telnetd

I get this response: E: Couldn't find package telnetd

Check Synaptic.............................

Telnet is not safe to use over the Internet. Install puTTY instead.

From the System menu, select: Administration>Synaptic Package Manager.

When the window for Synaptic comes up, click on the reload button and
wait for the latest repositories to upload.

Then, Search for puTTY, and click on Apply to install it.

Already did it. Forget about SSH.
