Does Kubuntu come with a sidebar? One that is EASILY installable? I
don't want to go through the
hassle of SuperKaramba or anything like that.

Kubuntu runs KDE and it allows to you have a bar on the side, top or bottom. It
is very configurable.

Not the task/toolbar. I'm talking an MacOS type bar.

As long as we are talking about Vista, does anyone know where I can find
a good Fox News sidebar gadget? Also, speaking of sidebars, there is
now a sidebar in KDE4 as well. Is there a sidebar for gnome out there
that I don't know about? Would love to have one.

You can download and install Google Gadgets. It is a binary so you just need to
make it executable and install it. As for pure Linux ones, I like Screenlets
which has lots of its own plus you can run gDesklets or Superkaramba gadgets.

Just got around to installing and trying Google gadgets, and I must say
I LOVE IT! I'm going to have to install this on my xp side as well when
I get around to it. Now my question becomes, is there a fox news gadget
for google gadgets out there?

I installed it based on Justins liking and I have to agree, it works
very well. It seems super stable too.

Yes, someone placed it in the wrong section. It is in with News. Not where most
people would expect to find it.

Fox News is the only legitimate news
source these days. Anyhow, yes I dug through all 50 some pages of all
of them and found it. Though it was a financial one, and I didn't need
that, so I figured out how to make my own. Works great. I love this thing.

Are you a paid commedian of some kind?

Answer #13    Answered On: Dec 17

No, not a paid comedian. Not even an unpaid comedian.

Answer #14    Answered On: Dec 17

All news is entertainment and everything is spun. Just some is spun more
than most. The biggest problem in the world today is that news is not news. The
press is in private hands and what we get as news is op ed. It is filtered
before we even get to see it, if we get to see it at all. That means that we are
all being propagandized, whether we like it or not. FOX isn't unique and no harm
is done unless we start believing the propaganda, beginning with the idea that
we are being given factual information.

The spin never stops, no matter who you listen to. Some are better than others,
but we are still being spun.

Well, not denying that the FNC has their opinion shows, i.e. Hannity and
others, however their news is not spun at all. Their news is straight
up and how it is. Now as far as their opinion shows, it just helps that
I share the majority of the opinions.
