problem concerning CXX

while type make appear to me the following problems:

rania@rania-desktop:~$ cd ns-allinone-2.33
rania@rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33$ cd ns-2.33
rania@rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33$ make
make: CXX@: Command not found
make: *** [common/packet.o] Error 127
rania@rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33$

i already install ns-2.33, my problem is how to solve the problem concerning cxx
