Using 12.04 64 bit. I've discovered that I am having a minor issue wuthrepositories. When I run update, I get the following:W:Failed to fetchppa.launchpad.net/.../S\ources404 Not Found, W:Failed to fetchppa.launchpad.net/.../binary-a\md64/Packages404 Not Found, W:Failed to fetchppa.launchpad.net/.../binary-i\386/Packages404 Not Found, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or oldones used instead.How can I remove these?
Remove the PPA from your sources list or just uncheck it fromthe repositories in Synaptic or similar. Then update. You can also installUbuntu Tweak or Y PPA Manager to manage PPAs (Google them).
Bear in mind, you will no longer get updates to the Orta Theme manager. In manycases, repositories are temporarily offline. If you just put up with the warningmessage, they often return after a few days.
