i have this peculiar problem.
i created a link to download a file from a ftp site,
in my web page, using the convention

ftp://username:pasword@ftp.mysite.com

when i click the link in windows 2000, iam able to
download this file,

but in windows 98, it is prompting me the username and
password again...

now i want to avoid this , how do i go about it.

i need solution urgently...
so kindly reply me if you know the solution
