Help me on Java Debugger

I need information about debugging a java program, is there any tools/commands
available?

Now I am using simple text editor -> java compiler, error checking and all I am
doing manually (trial & error method)

U can use Sun studio 4 for this. This is free now. You get help  also
there in the site, for how to use it. Visit following URL...
