Need some help.

I know very little VB/VBA as I have't used it for years. I am a
ColdFusion developer. Here's my prob...we have a bunch of reports
that are currently using ASP objects to create reports in excel.
Problem is this is dogging our server down with excel objects. WHat
I would like to do is to create these multipage reports making use
of the web query function in excel. I would assume i would have to
use a lil VBA magick to create multiple sheets where one sheet links
to the other sheets. Once this is done...if possible...I would like
to package that up and send it to the users so they can create the
reports and tie up thier own systems, rather than the server ;-) An
example of one of the reports:

The summary page in the workbook has a list of students and their
certifications. Each name is a link to a sheet with all of the
individual student;s information. Each sheet contains only one
student's info...so that means a sheet for every student.

We want to do this as a temporary solution while we work on a more
long term solution like web based reporting.
