command line system information

I saw something recently in the daily digest download about how to get
information about your linux system. Haven't been susccessful in
finding it again by searching. I told myself that I would save it when
I was reading it.

I am somewhat familiar with unmame but this would return much more
information about a linux system. (cpu, etc)

I am not even sure that it was this group. Thanks in advance if you
have a link to that post.

Thanks a load. Had never seen that command listed for system
information. It gave a lot of information. Great!
