Write to Audit Log in Trusted Solaris

I'm writing code that's suppose to write certain events(Start App,
Save File, Close App, etc..) to an Audit log on Trusted Solaris 8.
Does anyone know the command I should use to write to the audit log
or and code snippets that may help in this? Any tips would help...
