This article explains about ifconfig command with an example in unix.

ifconfig command is used to configure network interface parameters in unix.

Syntax of ifconfig Command

ifconfig [- options]  

Example of ifconfig Command

Example 1 : Display info on all network interfaces on server, active or inactive
