Question Answered By: Adah Miller   on Dec 11

I am afraid it would be impossible. In this case, in my opinion it would be
better to browse the web under Linux and use Windows on the PCs when you need to
use Windows programs.
I will start right now to search for equivalents.
I found this here
roaksoax.wordpress.com/.../visual-fox-pro-6-and-psqlodbc-on-ubuntu\
-with-wine/

Maybe if you have a DOS version of Foxpro it would work better in Dosbox. I
could see that the old Dos programs work better in Dosbox than the Windows
programs in Wine. Also, I was surprised that Dosbox is of better quality than
Windows's NTVDM, as it runs a lot more programs, but still the Freedos operating
system is better than Dosbox. With Dosbox I had the surprise that some DOS
programs ran too slowly or too fast (just a few exceptions, the rest ran
normally).

Please send me your copy of Foxpro to see what I can do here. I have Linux
Mint (derived from Ubuntu 8.04) and I have installed Wine and Dosbox. After that
I will delete Foxpro.
This would be a good exercise for Romania.
