Changing the choice of a Combo Box via VBA

.I've used the following code :-
"ActiveSheet.Shapes("Drop Down 56").Locked = True" this works ok
but
"ActiveSheet.Shapes("Drop Down 56").Value = "Export" " doesn't.
What am I doing wrong ?
